Meet Phil
Phil Ginsburg has a private counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy practice located in Houston, Texas. His counseling office is conveniently located near the Cypress and the Katy, Texas areas.
Phil is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as well as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Phil is a CSAT, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. Phil is a member of the American Counseling Association, A Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Phil Ginsburg has a Masters in Counseling from Sam Houston State University. Phil attended the University of Nebraska and majored in International Relations. He received his BA from the University of Massachusetts-Boston in Community Service and Public Policy.
Phil works with individuals experiencing adjustment to life cycle events, Career Counseling, Grief related issues, Substance Abuse, Gambling, Internet, Gaming, and Sex Addiction, Co-Occurring Disorders, Major and Bipolar Depression, Attention Deficit Disorders, Sexual Concerns, Anxiety Issues, Compulsive Behaviors and Trauma (PTSD).
Phil works with individuals, couples and families experiencing negative interaction cycles, parenting and communication problems, as well as serious co-dependency issues.
Phil is experienced at providing ongoing support and meaningful psycho-education to assist individuals and families to more effectively help themselves as well as another family member who may have challenging mental health needs such as Bipolar Disorders or Schizophrenia.
Phil has extensive experience working with sex and love addiction. He specializes in working not only with addicts, but couples desiring to heal from the trauma of sex addiction. Phil works closely with the partners of sex addicts.
Phil has worked as a counselor in a long term residential treatment facility as well as provided outpatient treatment with women who have co-occurring substance abuse and other mental health challenges, sometimes referred to as co-occurring disorders, or dual diagnosis. Many of the women Phil has worked with experienced severe trauma and abuse and incest related issues.
Prior to returning to school to pursue a career in counseling, Phil had an extensive international business career, traveling frequently to offices in the US, China, and London.

Meet Henry
Henry is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with extensive experience in addiction treatment. He began his career at a drug and alcohol treatment center and has been providing psychotherapeutic clinical services for the past four years.
Henry works with individuals, couples, and families on a variety of concerns, including addiction and recovery, psychoeducation about addiction, sexual concerns, communication skills, codependency, anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD.
He earned his Master’s degree in Social Work from Walden University’s Advanced Standing Master’s program, graduating summa cum laude. His therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), neuroscience-informed practices, and other evidence-based interventions.
Henry is passionate about helping clients recognize patterns in their lives and better understand how and why they think, feel, and behave. He approaches therapy as a partnership, offering empathy, insight, and guidance to help clients explore themselves in new and insightful ways, including through understanding how the brain and human behavior work. His goal is to help people build awareness, confidence, and the tools to create a life that feels fulfilling and true to who they are.
